Nick studied at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, and joined Hoskins Architects in 2007. He qualified as a registered architect in 2011, become an associate director in 2016 and promoted to director in 2018
Nick combines a creative and fastidious approach to design, with a thorough command of the technical complexities of construction and statutory consent processes. He is a skilled communicator, and is deft at leading and coordinating the varied disciplines within a design team to tight timescales, while maintaining careful quality control. He is adept in the role of client liaison, and is able to quickly focus on priorities and expectations, and develop design strategies that creatively address these. He is personable and persuasive, and skilled at stakeholder consultation. Nick is also a skilled contract administrator with particular experience of traditional contract forms. He combines a collaborative and problem solving approach to the construction process, with a single-minded determination to preserve quality.
